London Way crash causes commuter congestion around Walton-le-Dale

A crash on London Way caused congestion around a number of key South Ribble roads this morning.

Emergency services were called to London Way, close to the Capital Centre, at around 7.15am this morning (16 April).

They were attending a road traffic collision which did not result in any injuries to those involved.

There was congestion around London Way, Carrwood Road and Hennel Lane due to the incident with traffic not moving.

However, because nobody was injured, emergency services were soon able to get traffic moving and the roads were well clear by 8am.
