Preston Bus has confirmed it is temporarily not serving a city centre bus stop.
A Blog Preston reader, Amanda Eccles, says she was left standing for more than half-an-hour at the Lancaster Road North bus stop.
No signs are out at the bus stops to indicate they are not currently being served – when Blog Preston visited it on Monday 6 January.

She told Blog Preston: “They have advised their drivers to avoid using Lancaster Road towards the Ringway due to the work going on at the top of the Market.
“Pity they can’t advise their customers not to wait at the bus stop. I waited there over 30 minutes before noticing buses going straight down Ringway.”
Blog Preston contacted Preston Bus who confirmed the bus stops were not currently being served due to the Old Vicarage roadworks and works close to the new Animate scheme.
A spokesperson said: “At the moment we are not serving the bus stop on Lancaster Road north.
“This is due to roadworks on Old Vicarage, workers keep moving the fence and we have had a number of RTCs as the road is too narrow.”
Preston City Council recently announced a number of upcoming closures to Tithebarn Street and the Ormskirk Road junction as a result of final works taking place on upgrading pavements and lighting in the area.
Preston Bus said they have not yet had the precise detail of the closures and so had no update on whether services would be affected.
