Guild Way ‘partially closed’ after crash between Penwortham and Preston

A major route between Preston and Penwortham is partially closed due to a crash.
Preston Police have closed off part of the Guild Way.
A police spokesperson said it was a ‘minor injury’ collision.

The crash took place shortly after 9am on Thursday (12 September).
Blog Preston understands four-vehicles were involved in the crash – close to the slip road for Strand Road and Channel Way.
Delays and congestion are expected on Liverpool Road in Penwortham and Strand Road in Preston as motorists look for alternative routes.
Police say the road is likely to be closed for ‘some time’ Thursday morning.
