A Ferrari was seized in the rain by police after reports of anti-social driving in Preston.

The driver of the vehicle was hit with a second section 59 warning. Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002 refers to vehicles being used in a manner which causes alarm, distress or annoyance.

Police reported the incident at around 7am this morning (5 June). It happened on Ringway.

A spokesperson for police said: “Anti-social driving is unacceptable in any vehicle. Owning a £200k Italian sports car does not exempt you.

“Second S59 warning for this individual. Vehicle seized.”
