A cannabis farm was uncovered at an address in Preston.

Officers from Lancashire Constabulary attended the scene at Bold Street this morning (5 June) after what Blog Preston understands were initially reports of a brawl.

A cannabis grow was uncovered at the property with Electricity North West called in order to make the premises safe.

Enquiries are continuing but police indicated they have no formal report of the brawl taking place.

A spokesperson for police told Blog Preston: “We were called at 8.02am today to an address in Bold Street, Preston.

“Officers attended and found a cannabis grow in the property. Electricity NW attended to make the premises safe.

“Our enquiries are continuing.”

A police presence is continuing in Aqueduct Street during Thursday morning as further work takes place to secure the building.
