Police patrols stepped up after spate of Longridge shed break-ins

Homeowners in Longridge and Ribchester are being urged to secure their properties.


Ribble Valley Police were called out to a number of burglaries during Friday (19 January) into the early hours of Saturday (20 January).

PC Paddy Bowdich and PCSO Naznin Patel said the incidents occurred with offenders looking into vehicles and back yards and then getting into outbuildings and sheds.

Properties targeted included in Beech Drive, Oak Avenue and Church Gardens in Longridge and also Asturian Gate in Ribchester.


Police have stepped up patrols in the area.
