Leyland Way shut due to a crash

A crash was expected to cause rush hour disruption in Leyland during Thursday afternoon.
South Ribble Police closed Leyland Way due to a crash. Police have given an update on why the road was closed.
The crash, shortly before 4pm on Thursday (11 January), was between Canberra Road and Bent Lane.

Traffic was diverted down Bent Lane which was busier than usual.
Police confirmed as of around 5.30pm this evening that the road had reopened.
