A slip road from the Guild Way into Preston had been shut due to a crash.
Preston Police closed off Junction Road just before it meets Strand Road.
The closure – which took place shortly before 10pm on Sunday (17 September) – meant there is no access to Guild Way from the Penwortham side at the Golden Way junction.

And there was no access from the Preston side from Marsh Lane or Strand Road.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service sent four crews to the crash in Guild Way.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “Three of the casualties were trapped in the vehicles and were released by the fire service.”
Police said the crash was between a Vauxhall Astra van and a Nissan Qashaui.
The driver and passengers of both vehicles were taken to hospital.
Police re-opened the road shortly before 7am on Monday (18 September).
Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 1249 of September 17.
It’s the second crash on this section of the Guild Way junction in four days after a crash caused disruption on Thursday morning.
