The public are being invited to give their views on major changes to Ashton Park.
Preston City Council has unveiled proposals for nearly £10m to be spent on building a new community hub including 3G football pitches at the park in Ashton-on-Ribble.
The Ashton Park plans includes demolishing the current changing pavilions and upgrading it with new changing facilities, toilets, café, rooms for community groups and associated offices.

New grass football pitches would also be laid as part of the renovation and upgrade work.
Opposition to the proposals has been growing, with a campaign and Facebook group set up called ‘Fight For Ashton Park’.
More than 200 people have joined the group, with objections to the proposals focusing on floodlights for the sports pitches and the size and siting of the proposed car parks.
Two public events are being held on Wednesday 2 August and Thursday 3 August for people to see the plans and give their views.
The first on 2 August is 6.30pm-8pm at Dig In Walled Garden in Ashton Park and the second on 3 August is at St Bernard’s, Larches and Savick Community Hub from 4pm to 6pm.
