Fallen tree damages Deepdale house

A house in Deepdale has been damaged by a fallen tree during Storm Eunice.


One fire engine from Preston attended the scene in Manor House Lane yesterday (Friday 18 February).

A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters ensured the safety of occupants and neighbours before handing the incident over to the local authority.”

There have been multiple incidents around Preston caused by the weather, including the Railway Station being closed due to damage to the roof.

With yellow weather warnings in place for ice and wind over the weekend and Storm Franklin due to arrive early next week, disruption could be set to continue.
