Police have urged the public to share any information that may lead to the arrest of five of South Lancashire’s most wanted offenders.
AdvertisementEarlier this month, Lancashire Constabulary launched Operation Hunter, which targets some of the county’s most wanted criminals.
Police have made 53 arrests in the South Division since the campaign began, and they now need the public’s help to find others trying to evade capture.

This week’s top five wanted are as follows:
Kian Lowe is wanted in connection with a robbery that took place in Preston last week.
The 19-year-old is wanted after police were called to reports of a disturbance on Aqueduct Street on July 12, shortly after midnight.
Lowe, previously of Beckett court, Preston, is described as being 5ft 11in tall, with ginger hair, and usually has a beard. He has links to Plungington and Preston City Centre.

Adam Yusif Bhamji remains one of Lancashire Police’s most wanted individuals in Leyland.
The 38-year-old is wanted on recall to prison in connection with an assault on a 16-year-old boy and his father.
The incident occurred in a car park between Ellen Street and St Mary’s Road, Bamber Bridge, on May 23 2020. Bhamji, who also uses the last name Birch, is described as around 5ft 8ins, of medium build, with short dark hair. He also has multiple tribal tattoos on his arms, back and neck.

He was sentenced in December 2015 for ten years for aggravated burglary and assault and released on licence. Bhamji, previously of Morley Croft, Leyland, is now wanted on recall to prison. It is suspected he has breached the terms of his release.
Anyone who sees Bhamji should not approach him but contact the police immediately. For immediate sightings of Bhamji, please call 999.

Robert Towers is wanted on warrant after failing to appear at Preston Magistrates Court.
The 39-year-old is wanted in connection with the theft of a CCTV camera from business premises on Chorley Road, Preston.
Tower, previously of Collins Road, Bamber Bridge, is described as being 5ft 7in tall, with balding, light brown hair, and he has a distinctive bulldog tattoo on his arm. He has links to Preston and South Ribble.

Leroy Allen is wanted in connection with a robbery that happened over the weekend.
The 34-year-old is wanted after police were called to reports of a disturbance on Blackpool Road on July 18, shortly before 11pm.
Allen is from the Ribbleton area of Preston. He is described as being 5ft 7in tall, of medium build, with short, cropped dark hair and numerous tattoos and scars, including one on his neck. He has links to multiple areas across Preston.

Michael McGarry is wanted after failing to appear at Preston Magistrates Court.
The 41-year-old is wanted on a warrant in connection with possession of a controlled class A.
McGarry, of Grisedale Place, Chorley, is described as being 5ft 6in tall, with short, cropped ginger hair. He has blue eyes and has a small tattoo dot near his right thumb. He has links to Chorley and Preston.
