‘Potential weapons’ seized from children in South Ribble

Numerous tools and potential weapons have been seized on the streets of South Ribble, including from children.
Officers from South Ribble Police had been conducting Stop Searches in certain hotspots.
The items in the image above were found on children.

A spokesperson for South Ribble Police said: “The South Ribble Neighbourhood Team have been patrolling hotspot locations and conducting Stop Searches.
“As a result, numerous tools and potential weapons have been removed from the streets. These particular items were found on children, positive action has been taken.”
