South Ribble Police arrested three people in Leyland last night following a series of car break-ins and thefts.
Police arrested a 38-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, both from Leyland, on suspicion of interfering with a motor vehicle. They also arrested a 14-year-old boy, also from Leyland, who was arrested on suspicion of theft from a vehicle.
Police received reports involving people breaking into vehicles overnight, which led them to make enquiries in the area where they conducted targeted patrols.
On their Facebook page, South Ribble Police said their enquiries and patrols will continue, and anyone found committing a crime in the area will be arrested.

They said they appreciate the offending is causing concern in the area, and they are actively targeting those responsible.
If a member of the public has any concerns, the police encourage them to approach officers out on patrol to say hello and pass on any information they might have.
