Police have arrested three people after discovering a haul of drugs and weapons.
AdvertisementTwo men and a woman were arrested on suspicion of offences including affray, money laundering, supplying Class A and Class B drugs, theft and permitting drug misuse on premises.
The arrests were made during Sunday (17 January) afternoon in the St Matthews area of Preston.
A police spokesperson: “As well as the large amount of money and drugs, there has been a number of knives and other offensive weapons taken off the streets.
“This action will hopefully have a profound effect in the area of Fletcher Road.
“Task Force will continue to target this area in the coming weeks.”

Anyone with information on further criminal activity in the Fletcher Road area is asked to call police on 101.
