Rapid covid testing available at Preston mosque

A rapid covid-19 testing centre is available in Preston.

The Quwwat Education Centre on Peel Hall Street will be used as a testing centre on Mondays and Thursdays from 11am to 4pm.

The Lancashire Resilience Forum are administering the tests with support from the army.

Results will be sent to participants around half an hour after having the test. It is advised residents take a test twice a week while the service is available to them.

People do not need to be showing symptoms to have a test and no appointment is needed.
