This morning (Wednesday, 20 January) flood warnings were upgraded on River Ribble at Walton-le-Dale and Samlesbury as Storm Christoph continues.

Preston Police have warned of flooding at James Towers Way (Broughton Bypass, A6) at Broughton, southbound towards the M6.
They are asking people to avoid the area.
