Storm Christoph causes flooding on the rail line between Leyland and Bolton

National Rail have taken to social media to warn commuters of the disruption caused by Storm Cristoph.

Heavy rain has flooded the railway between Leyland and Bolton.

Buses have been requested to operate between Preston and Bolton.

The amber weather warning is valid from 6am on Tuesday through to midday on Thursday.
