Tributes have been paid to a delivery driver who died at the gates of a Preston primary school.
His family have released a statement via Lancashire Police.
Paul O’Donnell died from his injuries after being caught between his van and the gates of the school around 5.45am on Tuesday (18 September).
Blessed Sacrament Primary School in Farringdon Lane, Ribbleton, has been closed throughout Tuesday and Wednesday.

A Health and Safety Executive investigation has been launched into Mr O’Donnell’s death.
His family said: “Paul O’Donnell was son to Joe and Joan and brother to Russ. He has been sadly taken from us in very tragic circumstances and we are all devastated.
“Paul enjoyed socialising with his friends and loved his job delivering to the local schools, especially when he was treated to a secret snack from the kitchens.”
