Market traders have returned home under the Victorian Outdoor Market canopy in the city centre.
Preston City Council has allowed the traders – who had temporarily relocated under the Fish Market canopy for most of 2017 – to get back to their new home.
New tables have been laid out for the market stalls to trade from.
The move comes as shipping containers appeared under the Fish Market canopy to signal the start of building the box market – due to open in February.
The outdoor market traders are trading next to the glass-fronted new market which is pencilled in for opening in February to replace the current Indoor Market.
