A date to warm your cockles has been announced for the summer – as Preston’s Caribbean Carnival has been announced.
The carnival’s committee has set the summer date for the annual carnival which returned in 2017 after a year away due to funding problems.
Sunday 10 June 2018 has been confirmed as the date when Moor Park will shake to the samba beats.
The procession will also return, running in the streets around Deepdale and Moor Park.

Fundraising has begun for the carnival which relies on donations and sponsorship to take place – covering the cost of putting on the event, road closures and more.
