Two people are in hospital with serious injuries after a crash between Longridge and Ribchester.
Emergency services were scrambled to Hothersall Lane near to the Corporation Arms turn during Tuesday (4 February) morning.
Lancashire Police said they were called at 6.23am to reports of a crash.

A van and a car were involved in a collision.
A police spokesperson said two people had serious injuries and were taken to hospital.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service also attended the crash.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: “Two engines from Longridge and Preston attended a road traffic collision on Hothersall Lane.
“One casualy was extricated by fire service personnel and crews worked to make the scene safe.
“One casualty was taken to hospital by North West Ambulance Service.”
Crews were on the scene for nearly two hours.
Hothersall Lane remains closed to traffic with diversions in place until around 2.30pm on Tuesday.
No arrests have been made and anyone who witnessed the crash or who has information is asked to call police on 101 quoting log 0165 of 4 February
