More than 600 properties experienced a major power cut due to the snowy conditions.
Residents in Broughton and Goosnargh awoke to no power.
Electricity North West has engineers on the way to the area around Langley Lane.

There’s were estimated 675 properties without any power supply as temperatures drop to below freezing and a thick blanket of snow is being experienced.
The power cut was reported around 7am on Sunday (5 January).

As of 1pm on Sunday then 109 properties remained without power, with a restoration time of 4pm on Sunday expected according to Electricity North West.
There’s also reports of power cuts in Woodplumpton with 20 homes affected, Hoghton with 44 properties affected and in Elswick in Fylde where more than 1,000 homes are affected.
The Hoghton power cut has been resolved and only 20 homes in Elswick remain without power there. The Woodplumpton power cut is ongoing.
