Police are investigating an attack on a teacher at a Fulwood high school by a pupil.
A 12-year-old boy is understood to have punched and set upon a female teacher during a class at Our Lady’s Catholic High School in St Anthony’s Drive.
The attack took place during Wednesday 20 November and Blog Preston understands another pupil stopped the attack before other teachers came to help restrain the boy.

A spokesperson for police told Blog Preston: “The allegation is that a 12-year-old (male) pupil punched and kicked a (female) teacher in a class. It’s been reported and is under investigation.”
No arrests have been made.
A parent of a pupil in the class told Blog Preston: “We’ve had letters home explaining the incident and the response from the school to support the pupils involved and the teacher has been first-rate.
“It was a very scary thing to happen and I think the way the pupils all responded, particularly the one who helped to restrain the boy involved and stop the attack. Thankfully he did otherwise this could have been a lot worse.”
Blog Preston has approached Lancashire County Council, as the local authority with responsibility for the school, for comment.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 and quote log 0441 of Nov 20.
