Preston Pride returns to the city next weekend and a parade will take place.
Running from close to the city’s university campus up to the Flag Market.
Road closures will be in place during Saturday (28 September) morning while the city’s LGBTQ+ community and supporters take part in the parade.

The road closures are in place between 10.15am and 11.15am.
Pride march begins at Kendal Street on the city’s Adelphi Square on the University of Central Lancashire campus and then runs down Friargate to the Flag Market.
A day of music and celebration then takes place on the Flag Market throughout the Saturday.
Roads closed include:
Kendal Street – between Corporation Street and junction with Friargate
Moor Lane – between Adelphi Street and Friargate
Friargate – between junction with Moor Lane down to Cheapside junction
Ring Way – at junction with Friargate
Orchard Street – full length
Market Street – full length
Earl Street – full length
Birley Street – between Earl Street and Jacson Street
Cheapside – full length
One-way rules on Union Street, Hope Street, Marsh lane and Edward Street are suspended during the parade.
And the Corporation Street bus gate (southbound only) is suspended during the parade period.
