Boy, 15, charged after incident at Preston Flag Market

A boy has been charged after an incident in Preston that saw a motorbike collided with a toddler.

The incident happened on the Flag Market in the queue for the SpudBros potato van at around 12pm on 14 August. The child was not injured in the incident.

Police confirmed yesterday (22 August) that a teenager had been arrested in connection with this incident and other offences.

The boy, from Preston, has now been charged with two counts of burglary, failing to report an accident, dangerous driving, driving without a licence, driving without insurance and assault. He cannot be named due to his age.

He has been remanded into custody and will appear before Preston Youth Court today (23 August).
