Eastway in Fulwood closed both ways due to police incident

A road in Fulwood is closed in both directions this evening.
Lancashire Constabulary and Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service are at the scene of an incident on Eastway. The road is closed between Sherwood Way and D’Urton Lane.
Police are yet to confirm the nature of the incident but witnesses reported to Blog Preston that there had been a road traffic collision. Images show a car has flipped onto its roof during the collision.

The incident was reported to Blog Preston at around 6.40pm this evening (26 June).
A police spokesperson confirmed to Blog Preston the crash was a ‘damage-only collision’
