Two men arrested after £35,000 discovered in car near Preston

Lancashire Police have arrested two men after finding a substantial amount of cash in their car.

The men, aged 32 and 36 from Merseyside, had been travelling on the M6.

Officers from the Special Operations Unit signalled for a Jaguar to stop near the Tickled Trout service station at around 8.30pm last night (7 May).

Both men have been arrested on suspicion of money laundering and the 36-year-old is also under arrest on suspicion of human trafficking.

They are in custody awaiting questioning.
