A new factory is being built as a city industrial estate expands.
Kerakoll Group has announced it will build a 40,000 square metre production plant on land at the Roman Way industrial estate at Red Scar between Ribbleton and Grimsargh.
The plot known as Aptus is on the eastern side of the current estate.

Kerakoll said 60 new jobs will be created by the factory with a further 40 due to be created once the factory is fully operational.
The Preston site will be the second plant for the firm in the UK, building on its current plant at Leyland. The new factory will double their production output.
Kerakoll produce products used for sustainable building. The firm has also announced Carl Gardner as its UK director.

Work on the site is due to start later this year and be completed by spring 2026.
