Sections of two key roads in Cottam and Ingol are to see extensive road closures for the coming weeks.
Starting from today (Tue 2 January) the section of Tom Benson Way from the Guild Merchant roundabout to the Ancient Oak roundabout in Cottam will be shut until Monday 12 February.
Tag Lane will be shut on both sides of the Guild Merchant roundabout, the section from the Tabley Lane/Hoyles Lane junction and also the section past the BP garage and Londis on the southern side of Tag Lane.

The Tag Lane closure is expected to be until Thursday 16 May.
The closures are being undertaken by gas network Cadent to install new gas mains and reinforce current gas pipes.

Tanterton Hall Road will remain open throughout the gas works and provide a diversion route.
Major delays are expected at peak times and traffic on surrounding roads is expected to increase as drivers seek diversion routes through Tanterton Hall Road and Cottam Way.
