Preston to see a solidarity rally for Palestine this Sunday

A solidarity rally for Palestine is taking place in Preston city centre this weekend.
The event is being held at Preston Flag Market on Sunday 15 October, 2023 from 2:45pm-4pm.
Preston For Palestine are organising the rally which is due to be a “peaceful demonstration in solidarity with the Palestinians”.
The rally comes as fighting intensifies in the Gaza strip between Israel and Palestine.

Those attending have been asked to bring banners, flags and posters.
Preston has seen a number of rallies in support of Palestine previously and also in 2014 the Palestinian flag was raised over the Town Hall by Preston City Council before being taken down after protests and criticism.
