An e-bike rider has sadly died following a collision with a pedestrian in Preston.
The incident happened shortly after 6pm on Sunday (4 June) at the junction of Skeffington Road and Ribbleton Lane.

A pedestrian had crossed the road and was involved in a collision with the cycle, a Kona mountain bike modified to be an e-bike.
The bike rider, a man in his 30s from Preston, was taken to hospital with a serious head injury and sadly died later. His family are being supported by a specially trained police officer.
The pedestrian, a boy aged 16 from Preston, was also taken to hospital with a broken leg and internal injuries. The boy’s injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Sgt Chris Evans, of the Road Policing Unit, said: “This collision has very sadly cost a man his life and my thoughts are with his loved ones at this time.
“I would appeal to anyone who saw the incident or who has any information to come forward and contact police.”
