Music In The Park 2023 will take place in Leyland’s Worden Park on Sunday 28 May.

The line up of 80s and 90s chart toppers includes Bananarama, Peter Andre, Bad Manners, The South, Nik Kershaw, Boys on Block and Deco.

Back by popular demand, Pat Sharp will be on the decks spinning the sort of tunes that got everyone dancing last year.

Some categories of tickets are already sold out but there are general admission tickets still available.

Councillor Paul Foster, Leader of South Ribble Borough Council, said: “We are delighted to bring Music In The Park back for the second time with an even bigger and better line up.

“We have tried to keep the ticket cost down as much as possible and think that £40 is great value for such a great line up with seven bands, the fantastic Pat Sharp DJ set and event hosting by Brother Beyond’s Nathan Moore.

“I am looking forward to it and hope that as many people as possible come along and have a great time.”

The gates open at 1pm, and it will be non-stop music from the start with the first act on stage at 1.15pm and the headliners Bananarama on at 9.30pm to finish the show by 10.30pm.

There will be food stalls and a licensed bar. Picnic blankets and foldable chairs can be taken to the event.

Go to the Music In The Park website for tickets and information.
