Guy Opperman, Minister of State for Employment, has visited South Ribble to see local innovation in action.
The Minister joined local MP Katherine Fletcher at EnergyAce, an award-winning energy management company that manufactures systems designed to save on electricity bills.
The business, which has doubled in 12 months, is focussed on reducing energy consumption for customers and reducing CO2 emissions, while bringing high-quality jobs to South Ribble.
The team at EnergyAce were able to show off their innovations, and had the opportunity to tell the Minister how local businesses could be helped to grow and develop.

Katherine Fletcher said: “EnergyAce are a fabulous example of an innovative business in South Ribble.
“In a world where we need to continue to seek new solutions to the challenges of power they are at the forefront of the industry.
“I was very pleased to be able to bring the Minister to meet Managing Director Gary Vizard, Finance Director Eileen Vizard and their team and see just what brilliant companies we have here in South Ribble.”
