Ringway closed eastbound from Corporation Street to North Road

The latest Ringway road closures have started as part of the Transforming Friargate North and Ringway scheme.
Since Sunday 6 November, Preston Ringway was closed at 6pm in an Eastern direction from Corporation Street to North Road.

Lancashire County Council announced the Eastern section of the road will remain closed until Friday 11 November, at 6pm.
The £14.7m scheme began in November 2021, to modernise Preston City Centre in line with other cities and to improve public transport via by bus, rail and to encourage active travel such as cycling and walking in the area.
