Blackpool Road overnight closures for Preston Western Distributor works

The Preston Western Distributor works has progressed on Blackpool Road and is now ready for the final stages.
Overnight closures have been announced on Blackpool Road for late October.
In order to complete the works on the roundabout and islands, the layout to traffic will need to be changed.

On Saturday 22 October, from 9pm to 6am, Blackpool Road eastbound (Blackpool to Preston), including Riversway will be closed.
On Sunday 23 October, from 9pm to 6am, Blackpool Road westbound (Preston to Blackpool), including Riversway will be closed.
On Monday 24 October, the new layout will be in place as shown in the image above.
