Man falls from roof in Fishergate

Emergency services in Fishergate during Tuesday evening

Yesterday at 5:19pm Preston Police were called for a man on the roof of a building, whose welfare was a concern.

The man was on the roof of a building in Fishergate, and police attended the scene.

The man fell from the roof during the evening and officers on the scene provided immediate medical treatment, before he was taken to hospital, where he is in a stable condition.

The scene that was in place has now been removed.

Lancashire Police said they had referred the incident to the IOPC (Independent Office for Police Conduct).
