A Ribbleton DJ is hosting a charity night in memory of his baby nephew.
Reece Robinson’s nephew Benjamin Wright sadly passed away on 8 June, just six weeks after he was born.
Emergency services attended the scene after reports a baby had been found unresponsive.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “Despite the best efforts of the emergency services the child was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene. His death is currently being treated as unexplained.”
Reece is now raising funds to buy a cuddle cot for use by other bereaved families.
A cuddle cot is a cooling pad that can be inserted into any type of baby bed to allow the families of babies who have passed away time to grieve.
