Detectives have charged a 16-year-old boy for the murder of a Preston man who passed away after a stabbing last Friday.
Following a consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, the police charged a 16-year-old boy from Preston with murder, who is due to appear at Preston Magistratesā Court today (Monday, 11 July).
A further teenager has been arrested on suspicion of murder, a 17-year-old from Preston, who is now in custody.

Police have bailed another 16-year-old boy from Preston until 3 September, with two girls, aged 15 and 16, both from Preston, bailed until 5 August.
Police responded to a call around 6.25pm on Friday, 8 July, to Raikes Road, after a report of an assault, with emergency services attending the scene and finding a 27-year-old man with stab wounds to the chest.
He was treated by paramedics and taken to Royal Preston Hospital but sadly later died, and a post-mortem examination found stab wounds as the cause of death.
