A retirement community developer awarded £1,000 to the Garstang Scarecrow Festival to offer it a boost during its event last weekend.
This year’s festival was the town’s third Scarecrow Festival, first held in 2020, and it received funding from McCarthy Stone.
The theme, voted for by the community, was fairy tales and book characters, with Dorothy, Mary Poppins and the Three Little Pigs in attendance.
