A dance school that prides itself on giving students individual attention is celebrating 40 years in Preston.
Carol May’s Academy says it offers students of all ages and abilities dance training from highly-qualified and caring staff in a fun, relaxed and enjoyable environment.
Students can take weekly lessons as a hobby, or have more serious teaching to take exams, enter competitions or choose dance as their career.

A spokesperson for Carol May’s Academy said: “The school has a strong sense of family, due to its small beginnings and the close relationships it has with its students’ parents.
“Our students have access to a broad and balanced curriculum with high-quality education in the National Curriculum alongside a whole host of wider opportunities with staff with outstanding experience and professional qualifications.
“Students regularly achieve a 100 per cent pass rate. They are also taught by guest choreographers, many of whom are ex-students of Carol May’s Academy who have gained international reputations in their specialist field.”
