Firefighters have removed a damaged chimney pot from a Ribbleton house.

The large pot had been in danger of falling from the roof in Raikes Road.

Two engines from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and an aerial ladder platform from Hyndburn attended the scene yesterday (Friday 18 February).

The aerial ladder platform and a triple extension ladder were used to remove the pot.

The incident follows a series of weather-related issues caused by Storm Eunice.
