Heather said: “For our next Volunteer Task Day, we’re going to try something new.
“We’re dividing the day into two sessions, morning and afternoon. You can come for the whole day, either session or just one hour – we are always grateful for whatever time you can spare us.”

Participants will clear the path of debris, litter pick and cut back encroaching vegetation.
In the interests of lowering emissions and reducing parking congestion, the Friends of the Guild Wheel have asked participants to travel to the meeting point by sustainable transport (cycling, walking or public transport).
The group will also organise car sharing, and if residents require a lift, they can email their postcode to Heather by Thursday 10 February.
