Police have remanded a man to prison for six December burglaries in the Broadgate area of Preston.
AdvertisementOn Monday 13 December 2021, Preston Task Force was made aware of the burglaries, and the officers took on the investigation.
Police said through due diligence and determination, they found several significant pieces of evidence and subsequently identified a suspect within 24 hours of the offences occurring.

With the help of the Preston Target Team, police arrested the male on Friday, 17 December 2021, and he was charged and remanded to prison, where he is now awaiting his court date.
Police said they have continued to increase patrols in the Broadgate area and are committed to ensuring that the community feels safe after the incidents.
They said burglaries increase in the winter months and around Christmas, so residents should ensure they lock all doors and windows during the day and night and report any suspicious activity.
