In pictures: Preston gathers to celebrate the work of Tony Worrall

An exhibition featuring the work of beloved Preston photographer Tony Worrall took place at The Larder last Saturday.

In attendance on Saturday 11 December was the Mayor of Preston Cllr Javed Iqbal, residents and other admirers of Tony’s work.

‘A tribute to Tony Worrall’ will run until Sunday 23 January 2022 and display canvases and framed prints of Tony’s best-loved Preston scenes.

A talented and prolific photographer, Tony amassed more than 78,000 pictures on the photo-sharing website Flickr before passing away on Thursday 10 June, aged 61, at his home in Ashton-on-Ribble.
