On Friday, November 5, Chorley’s bonfire and fireworks night will be back with a bang at Astley Park from 6.30pm.Advertisement
There will be plenty to entertain the whole family, with food and drink traders to provide seasonal treats for customers and fairground rides for children.
The bonfire will be lit at 7pm. Sparklers are not allowed at the event, but Chorley’s sky will be lit with a 15-minute display starting at 7.30pm.

The event is free of charge, however donations are welcomed on the night for the Mayor’s nominated charities.
Councillor Peter Wilson, Deputy Leader of Chorley Council, said: “We are really looking forward to bringing the fireworks and bonfire back to Chorley this year.
“It will be a great warm-up ahead of the Christmas events we have planned.
“We hope you all have a safe and fun bonfire night and we can’t wait to see this event bring a sparkle back to the borough”.
