In partnership with the organisers of the Christmas Lights Switch On, Preston BID, we are seeking nominations for a Proud Prestonian to switch on the city’s Christmas lights.

The event, which is free to attend, takes place on the Flag Market on Saturday 20 November from 5.30pm, and will feature a host of performers and special guests.

One lucky winner will be invited on stage to speak to the event hosts, in front of a huge home crowd, before joining the famous faces to light up their city.

We are looking for nominations for local citizens who have done some amazing things during 2021, someone who’s a great community champion, and flies the flag for Preston. Do you know someone?

Complete the form below outlining who you are nominating, and why. Please ask permission from the person you are nominating, as they must be available to attend the event. Nominations close on Friday 12 November.

We’ll also throw in a £50 Preston Gift Card and three passes to attend the Switch On reception!
