M65 at Bamber Bridge fully reopened after 48-hour closure due to oil spill

The M65 motorway has now been reopened following the oil spill on part of the M65 on Monday, July 5.


Thousands of tonnes of material have been used to resurface the roundabout and slip road and reinstate carriageway markings.

More than a mile of road has been replaced.

The police have thanked motorists for their patience over the last couple of days.
