Tony Worrall was a man who loved Preston and captured the city from many angles.
The team at Blog Preston were saddened by his death at 61 during June.
We and a number of other people in Preston want to put on an exhibition to remember and say thank you to Tony for all the great pictures he took and shared.
On his Flickr and social media accounts Tony’s pictures were viewed millions of times – and were a regular feature of Blog Preston and made other media too across Lancashire Post, LancsLive and onto the BBC and ITV weather at times too.
We’d like your help to sort through the thousands and thousands of pictures and pick your Tony favourites.
After conversations with the Harris and Tony’s family then a digital slideshow will be beamed onto the big screen at the Harris cafe/interior from July 17 of Tony’s pictures and we hope then in the months ahead to be able to organise a further exhibition of Tony’s pictures at a venue/or venues to be confirmed.
If you’d like to pick out some favourites then Tony’s Flickr channel is here and please send any links to your favourite photos to contactus@blogpreston.co.uk with the subject Tony Worrall.
Thanks in advance for everyone’s help.
