St Mary’s GP practice, Penwortham is sending out vaccine reminders via text to encourage those who have not yet been vaccinated to book a jab.
St Mary’s is also connected to UCLan’s medical centre in the city centre.
The text says: “This is a reminder to book your COVID-19 vaccinations.”
It also provides a link where you are able to book both doses of your vaccines.
Lancashire and South Cumbria have so far administered more than two million vaccine doses and a third of 18-24 year-olds have now received their first dose.
