13 areas of Preston and South Ribble see increases in Covid cases in the seven days leading up to 23 June

13 areas of Preston and South Ribble have seen a rise in positive Covid cases in the week leading up to 23 June.

Areas such as Farington, Plungington and University and Walton-le-Dale are amongst those that have increased case numbers.

Figures are updated weekly by Public Health England in the government’s dashboard, with an interactive map of cases.

Below is the full list of positive cases by area from 16 June to 23 June. Figures for the previous week (9 June to 16 June) are shown in brackets.

Preston’s Covid case rate per 100,000 over the last seven days is 325, and increase from previous data.

England’s rate stands as 138, also an increase.
